Luxury Experience at Dior Homme KLCC

Last Wednesday was the Grand Opening of Dior Homme KLCC, the one and only Dior Homme in Malaysia. I was invited to their opening as a guest but unfortunately I did not make it due to some personal reason. One of their Sales Associates, Rebecca insisted me to come over to their boutique and try some of their clothes. Since I am a Personal Stylist and also a Personal Shopper, this is a great opportunity for me to expose the Spring Summer 2016 Collection of Dior Homme to clients and also my readers.

Yesterday, I have made an appointment with Rebecca for the private fitting session but unfortunately it was her day off so she diverted me to her colleague, Andrew.

The first thing you'll notice upon entering the boutique is the surrounding. The design of the boutique is unique and it represents Dior. The Sales Associates welcomed me with a very warm greeting. I sat on the sofa beside the coffee table. Then I was served with an orange juice.

Andrew started the whole thing by sharing a bit of the history of Dior Homme. It was very pleasing listening to the whole concept of Dior Homme and understanding the design of the menswear each season. Currently, the main prints for the Dior Homme SS16 Collection focuses on the white rose emblem with the camouflage background, camouflage printing and also embroidery on the pieces.

I started to linger around the boutique to gather some pieces for the fitting. Most of the items are quite formal but Kris Van Assche, the Creative Director of Dior Homme twisted the design to make it casually formal. I picked out a few items including suits, ties, sunglasses, bomber jacket and a few other things.

Andrew shared a bit of the secret about Dior Homme KLCC which for the leather goods, most of the items you see in store is the only quantity available in Malaysia. There are also some bags were stitched just for the Asia Pacific region.

For instance, the quantity available in Malaysia for this navy blue leather bag with the hint of orange and camouflage is only 1 in Malaysia. If the customer are keen to buy, they can order the item through the Dior Homme boutique.

Let's look on the outfit that I have gathered.

Outfit One

This is more suitable for the formal events but the hardware details on the suit makes it more casual. I am digging the suit so much because it is so unique. I'm wearing a head to toe Dior Homme.

Outfit Two

Nope, it is not a trench coat. It's a suit but it has been elongated. The first time I see the blazer on display, I hesitated. I was afraid that the cutting of the blazer would make me look shorter but after I tried it on, I was surprised to see the result.

Outfit Three

This outfit is suitable for an entirely formal events. The Navy blue sweatshirt with Dior Homme's signature emblem, the White Rose on the chest will give you a hint on what's under the blazer. What I love bout this outfit is that the shoe is a hybrid between sneakers and a dress shoe thus making it suitable to wear for both casual and formal wear.

Outfit Four

This is more on to the casual side. I took the Grey Marl Sweatshirt with the White Rose emblem on the chest and paired it up with a Khaki Green denim jeans. To have something to make the outfit alive, I paired it up with the leather bag in orange with the hint of camo and navy blue.

One of the staple shoe in their Spring Summer 2016 Collection.

It's as if the sneakers has a pair of gills.

This blazer is suitable for casual formal wear. Fun fact : It has a hoodie.

Sunglasses varies from Dior 'Black Tie' , Dior 'Composit 1.0' and some other new collections.

The Navy Blue tie has a very subtle hint of orange, Dior Homme's current signature colour.

The White Rose with the camouflage background represents the femininity within masculinity.

The details of the hardware is very subtle.

The embroidery were hand  stitched.

A massive thank you to Andrew and his team for giving me the best luxury service. I will definitely introduce more of Dior Homme to my current and future client.

" Luxury does not comes from the price or the brand, it comes from the service. We want to make sure our customer comes back in the future, not to only purchase once and never come back "
