Favourite Pour Homme Perfume

Perfume is one of the key ingredient on locking your personal style. Finding the right perfume might be an adventure but it is worth exploring. For me personally, I always gravitated towards perfumes that has the subtle sweet scent with a hint of woody scents. It gives that hint of the feminine side of masculinity and of course, it smells sexy and romantic. As for now, let's look at my favourite perfume that I am loving at the moment.

The first moment I sprayed this on the paper, it smells too masculine. That time, I thought I would never give this a shot. I remembered reading an article in a magazine giving advice on perfumes which they wrote that if we want to try on a perfume, spray it on the back of your hand or your wrist. Never trust the scents that blooms from the paper. Eventually, your body temperature will force the chemical in the perfume to react. Thus, radiates the true scents of the perfume.

So, I sprayed Eros on my wrist to give it a try. The first few seconds, it still projects the strong woody scents but as time goes on, it diluted on the softer side of the scent. Just a day after trying this on, I fell in love instantly and bought the perfume the very next day.

The price ranges between RM180-RM350. It really depends on how much ml you're going to buy and the store you're buying from. As for me, I bought the 100ml and it costs me around RM225 at that time due of having the year end sale in Sasa.

I'm not ashamed to admit that this perfume is my dad's. Despite it is not in my perfume collection, I love the way it smells. I can safely say that this perfume is the opposite of what I love. I kinda have this love-hate game with this perfume but often time, I always fell in love with it. I rarely spray this perfume on me but every time I sprayed it, I get compliments from people around me. The only time I will snatch this from my dad's shelf is when I need to attend events which forces me to smell more aqua masculine.

As for the scents, it has this aquatic scent the first time you sprayed it. It's not strongly masculine but as time goes on, the scent fades and starts to bloom a new woody scent. I can agree that this perfume is suitable for special occasions but not for an everyday use.

In terms of pricing, this perfume is around RM250-RM350. But for this particular perfume, my dad bought it in Madinah back in December 15.

I guess that this was an impulse purchase. When I got into Shins, I was going to try on the Dior Homme perfume but unfortunately, it was not available there. So I played around with the other perfume, spraying it on the paper and sniff it one by one. Just as I was holding the Rue Pergolese perfume, the salesperson told me that this smells nice and I should try it on.

Let me tell you, when I sprayed it on my wrist, it smelled strong. Just around 30 minutes later, the scent fades to a more softer side of the scent and it smells relatively similar to Eros. Then I thought to myself, why not? Since there's only 50% left of my Eros, I really need a new one. Personally, I did not regret buying Rue Pergolese.

In terms of pricing, it's RM130 for one size which is the 100ml volume. It was cheap for me. Maybe that's why it ended up to be in my perfume collection.
